Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Technologist to join our client, a leading International Investment Bank, to work with Gloss, Broadridge’s multi-currency trade processing and settlement solution. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in extending the range of multi-asset processing capabilities of Gloss, particularly in post-execution transaction processing for exchange-traded options. This role will be based in the heart of London’s financial district, offering an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Enhancing Gloss Capabilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance Gloss’s capabilities in modeling and processing a wide range of exchange-traded options, including currency, equity, index, and interest rate futures.

Trade Processing and Settlement: Lead efforts in trade capture, position-keeping, exercise (both manual and automatic), assignment, automation of close-out, and end-of-day settlement processes.

Support Margin Calculations: Provide additional support for margin calculations and interfaces as required by brokers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Integration with Broadridge Solutions: Collaborate with teams to integrate extended Gloss capabilities with other technology-driven solutions from the Broadridge portfolio, such as the PROactive® suite of tools covering reconciliations, confirmation matching, and fee and commission management.

Client Engagement and Support: Engage with clients and prospects to understand their evolving needs and provide support in leveraging Gloss’s technology for efficient process management across multiple asset classes.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance Gloss’s functionality and ensure alignment with the evolving needs of clients and the broader market.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience working with Broadridge’s Gloss system in a financial services environment, with expertise in multi-asset trade processing and settlement solutions.
- Strong understanding of exchange-traded options and other derivatives instruments, including currency, equity, index, and interest rate futures.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with experience in developing and integrating financial applications preferred.
- Solid understanding of trade processing workflows, margin calculations, and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients and prospects.
- Proven track record of driving innovation, implementing solutions, and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
