About Us: Prospect 33 is dedicated to connecting talented professionals with growth-focused organizations. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Staff Accountant for one of our valued clients, a rapidly expanding Financial Advisor firm with multiple offices across the Midwest.
Job Description: As a Staff Accountant with our client in Fort Wayne, Indiana, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and reporting of our client’s operations. This is an on-site position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing financial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Support in tax compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team on various financial projects.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Strongly Preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000
