Job Description

Prospect 33 is hiring eager ML Ops Engineers to join our thriving ML / AI practice! We are looking for engineers who are ready to help a highly regulated industry bring control and governance to a newer tool in its toolkit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for keeping order and process involved in the data science experimentation process and will have experience putting models into production with monitoring and explainability.

Some of your daily roles will include:

• Architecting, building, and diagnosing production ML systems
• Applying software engineering rigor and best practices to machine learning, including CI/CD, automation, etc
• Building out and monitoring pipelines for automated image builds, validating and testing models, monitoring data processes
• Designing and building MLOps systems, including data pipelines and production-level machine learning (ML) tools, interfaces, and infrastructure
• Interfacing with both ML experts and platform engineers to understand workflows, pinpoint and resolve inefficiencies, and inform the next set of features for the platforms
• Supporting model development, with an emphasis on audibility, versioning, and data security

Job Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related quantitative field
• Advanced proficiency with Python and/or Java/Scala
• Advanced proficiency with SQL
• Ability to create abstractions, APIs, and libraries
• Production experience leveraging one or more of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open-source tools
• Familiarity with one or more data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks (KubeFlow, Airflow, MLFlow, etc.)
• Prior experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Buildpacks, etc
• A collaborative thinker, with the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple time zones
