Prospect 33 is a niche consultancy focused on the financial services industry, primarily the investment banking industry in New York and London. We have a footprint of clients spread around the US and Europe in locations ranging from Jacksonville, FL to Boston, MA. We deliver a range of consulting services to our clients including some contract placement and some project consulting services. 

We are expanding our team based on demand from our current clients.  We’re looking to add experienced Project Manager consultants to enable our clients to be successful by driving the delivery of regulatory and cross-functional initiatives. You will be responsible for helping drive the content and the change management process for one or multiple workstreams:

  • Translate business strategy into an executable program of delivery and provide leadership of major workstreams within major programs and/or stand-alone projects.
  • Responsible for managing, directing, and planning complex business needs that roll into regulatory response programs with multiple project workstream teams from business and technology.  
  • Fulfill program governance requirements including senior stakeholder reporting, steering forum management, and administration of key program documents.
  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling project tasks, maintaining working relationships with client functional areas in business and IT.  
  • Oversight and coordination of operationalization activities including procedure and policy changes.  
  • Function as the primary point of contact for project issues, changes to project scope, development, and execution.  
  • Manage the production of program and project management artifacts, including charters, requirements, implementation timelines, testing strategies, and user adoption plans.  
  • Coordination with other Second Line and enterprise-wide programs/projects and partner with stakeholders across the firm (Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Front Office) to identify and track key activities, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support senior Program Managers executing change initiatives.  Manage and support management information reporting to senior stakeholders, including transparency in status communication and advising on ad-hoc senior stakeholder requests
  • Facilitate workshops and chair working groups with senior attendees.
  • Ensure neutrality position is maintained to take an independent view on status and risk/issue management to bring the best solution for the firm. Identify and mitigate program risks.


Job Requirements
  • Experience with Counterparty credit and stress testing of related exposures including market risk factory sensitivity analysis and hypothetical scenarios as it applies to securities finance, foreign exchange, and derivatives transactions 
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline (e.g. physical sciences, engineering, economics, business), advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience driving change projects in the Financial Institution practice at a tier 1 management consultancy, or within the technology or strategy organizations of a systemically significant capital markets business
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and how they integrate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including senior management communication
  • Conflict resolution in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to drive results autonomously and escalate properly
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and handle and or prioritize multiple urgent tasks simultaneously across multiple time zones
  • Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills, working across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Intellectually curious and interested in the future of financial services
  • Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills
